Masala Chai
Ingredients for 2 cups:
1 Cup of Water
1 Cup of Milk (Or any non-dairy milk substitute, I have found that oat milk works best in chai)
2 tbsp of loose black tea leaves (black tea bags work just as great)
2 tsp of ZSpice Chai Masala
1-2 tsp of grated ginger (optional but highly recommend)
2 tbsp of sugar or sweetener (per taste)
In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water with the loose leaf chai, ginger and ZSpice Chai Masala to a slow simmer. Roughly 4-5 minutes. Add milk to the mix and let it come to a boil. Double boil for a stronger chai. Use a sieve to strain the chai into two cups, and enjoy!

Chai Masala Latte
To make a HOT chai masala latte, add 1-2 tsp of ZSpice chai masala, sweetener of choice and a few tbsp of hot water to a mug. Mix it all together to dissolve the masala in water and add warm milk. Add black tea for a caffeine kick.
To make a COLD chai masala latte, add 1-2 tsp of ZSpice chai masala, sweetener of choice and a few tbsp of hot water to a mug. Mix it all together to dissolve the masala in water. Add ice and cold milk. Add black tea for a caffeine kick. Enjoy!
Pro Tip: Use a frother or a blender for a frothy latte. It is normal for some of the masala to settle at the bottom.
Soothing Caffeine-free Tea
For a soothing tea to unwind at night (or any time of the day) - add 1-2 tsp of ZSpice chai masala and sweetener of choice (we love honey) to a mug and give it a good mix. Add water and mix well. Enjoy!
